My Story

It all started in 1983, with an 11-year-old boy in Rio de Janeiro and a family gift that changed everything: a computer. In a loud, multicultural home shaped by immigrants from Spain, Italy, Türkiye, Egypt, Portugal, and more, I grew up surrounded by curiosity, books, and lively debates. My parents—professors and entrepreneurs—taught us the power of knowledge and hustle.

That computer became more than a gift—it was a pact. My elder brother and I decided to use it not for games, but to build solutions. At 11 and 12, we pitched our first software to local shops, and surprisingly, one said yes. We didn’t even know how to code yet. But we learned. Fast. That tiny spark lit a lifelong fire for technology, creativity, and purpose.

From there, my journey spanned from building custom software in my teens to becoming an early internet evangelist in Brazil, teaching and connecting people to a technology few understood. I studied computer engineering, worked in computer graphics for a TV company, mixed art and tech, and later earned a Master’s from NYU. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege to work across 30+ countries, support hundreds of companies and startups, exhibit digital art pieces in several museums and speak at global forums—from Davos to TEDx.

But this isn’t just about achievements. My work is driven by empathy, curiosity, and the belief that technology can elevate human potential. Whether in Fortune 500 boardrooms or classrooms, prisons or war zones, I’ve learned that innovation is less about tools and more about mindset.

I want to invite you to be part of what’s next.

Hello

I believe in impact through innovation, in challenging the obvious, and in seeing not what is—but what could be.

My mission is simple: to look at the world differently, think without boundaries, and use innovation as a force for lasting, human-centered change.
